This small but perfectly formed store specialises in vintage, reworked and handmade clothing and accessories at affordable prices.
The shop, launched in 2010 by friends and fashion fanatics Heather Rogers and Claire Bissell who turned their weekend hobby of buying and selling vintage clothing into a full-time business venture, has built up a loyal customer-base both in store and online.
‘Mad Elizabeth’ offers beautiful vintage bounty from the 1950s through to the 1980s including accessories and a unique selection of handmade jewellery. The pair has also created a range using recycled fabrics called Betty’s Recycled, a collection of handmade skirts using bold prints and vintage material.
