Organic, Promoting fairtrade , Protecting and improving our quality of life, Supporting local enterprise and choosing local produce
Fair Trade is one of our core values. Many people in poor countries are paid a pittance for their produce and often work in appalling conditions. The prices they are paid for their coffee beans and crafts is a fraction of the final price on the shop shelf.
Organic farming is good for the land and our health, as it doesn't use chemical pesticides and fertilisers. It also helps preserve woodlands, wetlands and hedgerows and encourages small-scale farming.
Out of this world's organic range is increasing all the time as wonderful new brands become available and prices fall.
They buy products which have a minimal environmental impact on the earth, and are made from sustainably managed resources. They are energy efficient, recyclable and durable.
Out of this world are introducing a growing number of products from local suppliers and community businesses. The aim is to support local entrepreneurs and the communities which shops are based in. This allows each shop to develop its own identity and also helps reduce "food miles".
