As you would expect from a leading business destination, we have extensive high-speed broadband coverage, including complimentary city-centre WIFI, so delegates can stay connected throughout your conference.

The city is continually at the forefront of technological developments; the first UK ISP Freeserve was launched in Leeds and Leeds City Region was the only UK location outside of London selected to pilot the 4G mobile broadband launch in 2013.

There are further plans for significant public and private sector investment across the city, including over £100m public sector investment in digital infrastructure over the next three years.

With the convergence of major fibre networks in Leeds providing low cost, high capacity data routes with some of the fastest and most resilient access in the country, Leeds is incredibly well connected. Additionally, work has started on DC4, aql’s newest £43m data centre, which will be the largest independent data centre outside London and will serve the entire region, bringing improved internet connectivity to Leeds.

The digital excellence across the city ensures all digital and connectivity conference needs are catered for, but it also offers the unique opportunity for delegates to explore the city’s digital innovation and cutting-edge technology, which ultimately impact on businesses globally in our digital era.
