ON FOOT

Leeds City Centre contains miles of pedestrianised streets, and a large number of covered arcades and shopping centres, so walking is often the best way to get about.

A number of our shopping streets have recently been refurbished, new Yorkstone paving has been complemented with new trees and even artistically crafted benches.

A ‘Walk it' map has been carefully designed to make exploring Leeds city centre on foot easier. You can download our ‘Walk it' map here or it can be picked up at various distribution points including Leeds Visitor Centre located at Leeds Train Station.
