Guts, Gore and more at Thackray Medical Museum
Half Term, 24 – 28 October 2016
It’s Guts, Gore and more at Thackray Medical Museum this half term. Using make-up techniques from stage and film, the museum will be running a series of gruesome special effects workshops. Staff will be on hand to show children how to create scary scars, bubbling boils and pus filled pimples in these fun workshops which are perfect for kids looking for Halloween scares.
Charlotte Chester, Learning Officer said “This is a really fun, hands-on Halloween event that children love. There will be the opportunity to learn some of the professional techniques used by TV make-up artists before trying them out for themselves.”
Workshops take place Monday 24th to Friday 28th October from 11am-3pm and visitors should book their place on arrival at the museum. For more information visit the museum website www.thackraymedicalmuseum.co.uk
