Ravensprings is a very large self-catering detached corner house. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable which includes an absolutely stunning sitting room; 34’ x 16’, with open fire and mahogany panelling from the Mauretania Edwardian ocean liner. The House retains lots of original features and is very photogenic!. There is a well equipped kitchen including, 2 fridge freezers, 2 cookers (one range style 1 gas), dishwasher, microwave etc.

The elegant dining room seats around 24 guests who often use the services of local caterers for themed dinners or buffets.

Normally sleeping 18 guests in 7 bedrooms, we now provide an extra 4 beds for extra guests. One of the double bedrooms (with en suite) is downstairs which is ideal for the elderly or infirm. 2 other bedrooms are en suite and there are a further 2 large family bathrooms as well as vanity unit. There is a cot and high chair available on request and every bedroom has room for a travel cot!

There is free Wi-Fi with unlimited downloads, Sky + films and sports, central heating and linen (towels are optional extras) included during your stay.

Outside there is a large garden with BBQ area, swings and trampoline for the children.

The central location of Ravensprings provides easy access by car, train and air. It also offers a wide variety of local entertainment and services as well as days out touring the many places of interests to visit. There are numerous local sports and activities. The House is equidistant from the countryside and city centre which means there is something for every type of visitor from walking to clubbing. Leeds City Centre is nearby with it’s shops, bars, galleries, museums, clubs and theatres. You are spoiled for choice.

The youngest visitor had a christening celebration and the oldest celebrated her 100th birthday!

    Brighouse is located approximately 1 mile from Junction 25 of the M62. This is about 12 miles to the M1 and 25 miles to the M60 which links up to the M6, M4 and M56. The International Airports of Leeds Bradford and Manchester are both approximately 30 – 45minutes drive depending on the traffic and time of day.

    There is a direct train line from Leeds City Centre which connects with most parts of the UK the link below gives train and bus links (type in the Postcode HD6 2HP)

    The Bus from Brighouse Railway Station is the 570 will take you to a stop about 140 m from the House Ask for Waring Green, Lightcliffe Road / Bracken Road. Or just take a cab it should only cost around £3.50 - £5 as it’s only a mile from the House.
    Mini Cabs are cheap and well worth the cost as we are 1 mile up the hill from the station.
