This traditional Real Ale House with contemporary décor creates an intimate atmosphere for live music, favouring the 'unplugged' feel that comes from close contact between artists and members of the public.
The unique concept began in late 2008 as an amalgamation between Jamie Lawson, director of Ossett Brewery, Mike Heaton drummer from Yorkshire Indie band Embrace and ex-Virgin Japan MD Mike Inman.
In the venue there are 2 corridors of seating which lead to an open plan bar area which has 10 hand pumps! Stairs at either side lead up to a mezzanine floor. The band plays in the middle upstairs so you can see them both if you are sitting upstairs or standing down in the bar.
