Cycle Maintenance Basics: From Forks to M-checks
As part of The Ladybird Project's weekly Skill Share programme, Robin will be teaching us the basics of bicycle repair and maintainance.
Robin is a long time cyclists and cycle repair volunteer. He has written about cycle touring and setting up a bike repair company in the Oil Drum. He can often be found Pedallers' Arms [https://www.facebook.com/Pedallers/] in Leeds, where he is a volunteer.
If you want to check out some of Robin's writing on cycling and bicycle repair, check out these links: http://eprints.whiterose.ac.uk/77321/ [http://eprints.whiterose.ac.uk/77321/] http://www.resilience.org/stories/2009-11-19/how-set-and-run-bicycle-repair-company/ [http://www.resilience.org/stories/2009-11-19/how-set-and-run-bicycle-repair-company/]
So bring along your bicycle and let's see if we can help get you on the road for the summer!
The session itself is completely free to attend and will be fairly informal so don't worry if you cannot attend the full 2.5 hours. There will be hot food available from the All Hallows Community Cafe for a donation.
