Suitable for adults and juniors at an intermediate to more advanced level.FIDDLE: DES HURLEY WOODEN FLUTE: NIALL KENNYNiall Kenny is a well-established flute player who grew up in Edinburgh. His earliest influences were through his parents, from Tubercurry, Co. Sligo, and through extended family in Donegal. He was heavily involved in the vibrant Scottish/Irish Edinburgh music scene in the 1980’s and 90’s where his Sligo/Donegal influences seemed to be particularly at home. He has played with a number of Scottish bands, toured widely, and has composed a number of tunes that are now firmly in the traditional repertoire.BODHRÁN: CORMAC BYRNE IN ASSOCIATION WITH HONEYDRUM WORLD MUSICCormac Byrne, a bodhrán player and percussionist from Co. Waterford, Ireland won the BBC Young Folk Award and was winner of the BBC Fame Academy Arts Bursary in 2006.
