The Clean as Possible Comedy Show

The Clean as Possible Comedy Show

Details

Presented by Just Fair Laughs Cutting edge stand-up comedy with a 12A certificate. Come and watch 3 top comedians from the UK comedy circuit perform a swear free act. Tony Vino will MC for acts Archie Kelly and Dom Woodward. ARCHIE KELLY Archie is an effortless master of bone dry anecdotes laced with a pinch of well-aimed vitriol and served with a garnish of razor-sharp song parodies. Tawdry cookery analogies aside Mr Kelly is a dynamite comedic entity who will ensure belly laughs a-plenty and is a headline performer all over Britain and beyond. As seen playing ‘Kenny Senior’ in Channel 4's ‘Phoenix Nights’ and ‘Max and Paddy’s Road To Nowhere’ as well as on the enormously successful ‘Jumping On The Bandwagon’ UK theatre stand-up tour with Paddy McGuinness. He has further TV credits including ‘Coronation Street’, ‘Shameless’, ‘Emmerdale’ and ‘The Street’ "Stand-up of the very highest order" – City Life "Inspired storytelling and wickedly witty asides mixed with fantastic vocal mimicry" – bbc.co.uk Dominic Woodward From Oldham, Dominic spent 6 years working his way up the McManagement ladder at McDonalds. In 2001 he threw in the McTowel when he saw comedy as a way out of his McJob. Since then he has quickly risen to a regular performer on the professional stand-up circuit. Dom's confident and cheeky (sometimes grumpy) persona charms audiences as he paints images of the quirky people he meets. Always in demand as headliner, support and compare he performs regularly all over the UK. He has performed live on BBC 2 and ITV and was a regular in MEN@Work The Comedy Store's topical show in Manchester. Nominated for Best Breakthrough Act at the Northwest Comedy Awards 2004. His set is a fast paced ride through his life and the things that annoys him most. He explains in sidesplitting detail why he hates driving, gives an invaluable lesson on how to steal from the post office and reveals all about his days behind the McDonalds counter. "Effortless delivery" The Times "Engaging material" Manchester Evening News "Dominic has a keen eye for observational comedy and genuine funny bones." bbc.co.uk "Insightful and humorous observations." Guardian Line-up subject to alteration without notice.
