Duke Studios & Ninety Nine Present - Psychemagik

Duke Studios & Ninety Nine Present - Psychemagik

The fabulous Psychemagik will be coming to play our Yarden and Event space in August.

Duke Studios has teamed up with Ninety Nine to bring you an exceptional evening. Psychemagik will take the lead, joined by the Oliver Walkden (Brudenell Groove) and the Ninety Nine DJs
Early Bird tickets at Just £8!!

The event will be taking over the full Duke Studios space, with DJs playing in the unique outdoor Yarden Terrace, Indoor Event Space and with Sheaf St Cafeteria bar open.
Psychemagik, known for their beautiful production work, prolific remixing skills, obscenely vast record collections and transcendent mixtape journeys, are a truly unique and positive presence across today's music scenes. Their first appearance on wax was an edit of Fleetwood Mac's 'Everywhere', which quickly found its way into the record bags of veterans like Tom Middleton and Greg Wilson.

The duo have since released an impressive array of highly acclaimed original productions, remixes and edits on labels such as Crosstown Rebels, 20/20 Vision, Phonica Recordings, Phantasy Sound, Pets Recordings, Eskimo Recordings and their own imprint Psychemagik to name but a handful. Their recent version of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Dreams’, topped the Hype Machine charts. Their latest track ‘Mink and Shoes’ featuring Navid Izadi has been dominating dance floors for some time. Their mixes paint the story of two extraordinarily talented and passionate guys who can absolutely dominate a dancefloor.

They also have a reputation as the go-to guys for mega rare records and samples that you won't find anywhere else. Their satisfied customers include 2 Many Dj's/Soulwax, Chemical Brothers, Q-Tip, Fake Blood amongst many others.

Ninety Nine know a thing or two about putting on proper parties and are no strangers to doing so on the Yarden Terrace, Indoor Event Space and Sheaf St Cafeteria. After holding regular residencies at both The 212 Café and Sheaf St Cafeteria for the last year, you only have to take a quick look at previous guests of these nights to know that they have a great ear for a cracking DJ. Expect ace tunes with loads of groovy heat and good people.
