Katherine, a young woman trapped in a loveless marriage of convenience to a man twice her age, grows frustrated with her oppressive life. While her husband is away on business she embarks on an affair with a young worker on the estate and her new found passion unleashes forces so powerful she will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Murder and mayhem ensue in this thrilling gothic tale.
