A uniquely co-commissioned Sitar Concerto brings together two prominent styles of Classical music. Scored for sitar and strings, this debut performance of The Bridge, explores the nature of the Indian solo instrument in a new context stretching the themes of Raag, Taal and Harmony to produce a rich, diverse and distinctive sound. ?? Recently awarded the Tarang Musician of the Year, Jasdeep Singh Degun represents the next generation of innovative and ground-breaking Indian Classical musicians of the UK. Leeds City Station, situated on New Station Street, is approximately a 10-minute walk from Leeds College of Music.

When entering the city, follow the brown road signs for ‘West Yorkshire Playhouse’ at Quarry Hill, just off the A64 York Road in the centre of Leeds – or you can follow the City Centre Loop signs.
Major attractions, including the West Yorkshire Playhouse, are identified on the Loop signs. The Conservatoire is at Loop Junction 12.
Please note the Conservatoire does not have any car parking space. We recommend that visitors use the multi-storey car park on Harper Street near Leeds Kirkgate Market.
