His recent performances include Wigmore Hall, Windsor Castle, Menuhin Hall, Forbidden City Concert Hall (Beijing) and Istrian Assembly Hall (Croatia). Jamal plays on a cello by Gabrielli (1756).Maria has already gained an enviable international reputation as a soloist and chamber musician. She studied first in Ukraine with Alexandra Smetankina and Iya Pavlova, and then in Poland with Natalia Radecka, Natalia Rewakowicz (piano) and Maja Sterczynska (chamber music). In 2008 she moved to Brussels where she continued her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

Leeds City Station, situated on New Station Street, is approximately a 10-minute walk from Leeds College of Music.

When entering the city, follow the brown road signs for ‘West Yorkshire Playhouse’ at Quarry Hill, just off the A64 York Road in the centre of Leeds – or you can follow the City Centre Loop signs.
Major attractions, including the West Yorkshire Playhouse, are identified on the Loop signs. The Conservatoire is at Loop Junction 12.
Please note the Conservatoire does not have any car parking space. We recommend that visitors use the multi-storey car park on Harper Street near Leeds Kirkgate Market.
