LEEDS RHINOS FACE ST HELENS IN ‘THE LAST STAND’

Headingley Carnegie Stadium is about to undergo a huge re-development, with work on the iconic South Stand due to start at the end of August this year.

The stadium is home to the Leeds Rhinos, who will face fierce rivals St Helens for the final game in front of the historic South Stand – taking place on Friday 18th August 2017, kick off 8pm.

The night promises to be a huge occasion, with loads of entertainment planned for fans in all areas of the ground to send the South Stand off in style, including live music, free commemorative flags for the first 15,000 fans and an exciting pyro display.

Past players have been invited to come and show their support and after the final whistle there will be interviews on the pitch with Rhinos legends. You’ll be able to hear stories about players’ favourite memories of the South Stand, and their favourite moments playing at Headingley Carnegie Stadium. The Leeds Rhinos team will also complete the traditional Lap of Honour at full time - to meet fans, sign autographs and stop for photos.

You can play your part and upload a frame for your profile picture on Facebook to show your support for The Last Stand. Just visit http://twibbon.com/support/tls-2 and log in with your Facebook to upload the ‘Twibbon’ frame in a few easy clicks.
