Talk: Women and World War One. World War One Project Curator Lucy Moore looks at how women's lives changed during WW1. From the streets of Leeds to much further afield, hear about some inspiring lives. Baby friendly bite size talks from the curators of Leeds Museums and Galleries, designed for parents and carers with babies and toddlers. These talks are only for parents and guardians with their babies, so there's no need to worry about disturbing other guests whilst the talk is on. Free movement during the talks with a craft station, toys and books in the room for added entertainment for your little ones. There is room for pushchairs, and nappy changing and toilet facilities close by.

How to find us Leeds City Museum is located in the city centre, on Millennium Square. By public transport: A 10 minute walk from Leeds railway station and a 15 minute walk from the city centre bus station. By car: On street parking is available on Rossington Street and Cookridge Street. Woodhouse Lane, The Light, Merrion Centre, St John’s Centre and Rose Bowl car parks are all a 5 or 10 minute walk from the museum.
