Yorke Dance Project | Rewind Forward

Yorke Dance Project | Rewind Forward

Details

With pieces from world-renowned masters of choreography Sir Kenneth MacMillan and Robert Cohan, as well as new generation choreographers: Royal Ballet Young Choreographer Charlotte Edmonds and Yorke Dance Project [http://www.yorkedance.com/]’s Artistic Director Yolande Yorke-Edgell.

MacMillan’s rarely seen _Sea of Troubles_ is inspired by Shakespeare’s _Hamlet_ and Cohan’s_ Testament_ is the reimagining of a previous work that now portrays six athletic dancers moving through twilight.

With a specially commissioned score, Edmonds’ _Self _evokes the passionate world of a man struggling with desire and Yorke-Edgell’s _Untethered_ closes the programme with a journey to unravel the ties that can bind our mind and spirit.
