Live Comedy at Aspire with Bobby Mair

Live Comedy at Aspire with Bobby Mair

Opening - ADAM ROWE. Adam first stepped on stage back in 2010, aged just 18. A little over a year later he was named Liverpool Comedian of the Year and has since gone on to establish himself as one of the most exciting young acts in the country. A combination of observations, stories and a ferociously quick wit make Adam not only a strong act, but a formidable MC. As a result he was asked to MC the prestigious Big Value Showcase at The Edinburgh Festival 2014.His undeniable likability has led to constantly growing fan base and two sell out solo shows at The Liverpool Comedy Festival (2013 & 2014), with his Edinburgh debut set to be 2016. It may be a cliche, but there seems to be no stopping this hotly tipped young scouser.

In the middle HARRIET KEMSLEY 'A quirky very funny new stand up...her style is refreshingly original and she's a seriously good writer,' TIME OUT. Harriet's talked on a stage all over the world - at places like The Sky Cat Laughs Comedy Festival in Kilkenny, Oslo Comedy Festival and Just for Laughs in Montreal. She has also supported some of her heroes on their nationwide tours, like Katherine Ryan, Stephen Merchant and Isy Suttie. Credits include; The Radio1 Comedy Lounge, BBC3 Comedy Marathon, The One Show Edinburgh Special and Kevin Hart's LOL Live.

Closing - BOBBY MAIR. Bobby Mair is a Canadian stand-up comedian based in London, England who has appeared on The Hour, Russell Howard's Good News, Sweat the Small Stuff, Virtually Famous, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Sam Delaney's News Thing and 8 Out of 10 Cats.

Bobby Mair is a disturbingly exciting new comedian, having graced our screens in the last season of Channel 4’s ‘8 out of 10 Cats’ and BBC3’s ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’. Most recently he was the opening act at the 2014 NME Awards and he also appeared on post Edinburgh Fringe best of highlights show, BBC3’s, ‘Seann Walsh’s Late Night Comedy Spectacular’. His most recent assault on our TV screens shows him kissing audience members on the current series of ‘Sweat the Small Stuff’ for BBC3. Bobby made a second consecutive appearance at ‘Just For Laughs’ in July of this year, taping a Best of the Fest gala with ‘roastmaster’ Jeff Ross.

Later this year, Bobby can be seen on Series 11 of Live At The Comedy Store, produced by Open Mike Productions for Comedy Central, as well as Alex Zane’s Funny Rotten Scoundrels: Live from the Century Club as part of the London Live channel. Hosted by Alex Zane, this series brings one of London’s newest, coolest stand-up comedy nights to TV. Recorded at London’s legendary Century Club, it will feature a well-crafted mix of new, comic talent alongside well known acts.
