Left Bank Cinema: Everybody Street
Iconic street photographers Ricky Powell, Martha Cooper, Jamel Shabazz, and Jamel Freedman have spent their lives capturing the raw essence of New York City through its artists, graffiti writers and street people. Their wild, candid images offer the viewer glimpses of humanity that are random and true. The film is directed by Cheryl Dunn, herself a photographer who has been documenting NYC for over two decades, but after a fantastic reception at film festivals upon its release, this gem of a film is in danger of disappearing without trace.Catch it here at a one off screening organised in the lovely, artful surroundings of the Left Bank Cinema.Cheryl Dunn / 2013 / 1hr 25min / USADoors 7.30pm | Screening starts 8pm
