Located in Liversedge, the family run Healds Hall Country House Hotel first became famous through links with the Brontë family when it was owned by the Reverend Hammond Robertson, immortalised as the Reverend Matthew Helston in Charlotte Brontë's novel 'Shirley'.
Located on the A62 in the centre of Pennine Yorkshire, Healds Hall is 3 miles from the M62 and 4 miles from the M1 giving easy access to Huddersfield, Bradford and Wakefield and Leeds - even Leeds/Bradford airport is within easy reach.
The tastefully decorated restaurant is an ideal setting in which to relax and enjoy the outstanding cuisine. There is an extensive a la carte menu, including some interesting vegetarian dishes and top chefs produce food to the highest quality using only the finest fresh local ingredients.
Of course if you'd like a more casual atmosphere then eat in our modern new bistro where we hold special events such as 'Thai', 'Shellfish', 'Tapas' and 'Jazz' evenings - all of which are great fun!
There are some wonderful places to explore in the local area including Oakwell Hall Country Park, Red House Museum and the Royal Armouries and for the more wonderful treat spend a day at Easthorpe Hall Spa - recently voted the Best Day Spa of the Year for 2007.
