VW Festival is a family-friendly, entertainment-filled weekend that has something for everyone. As well as looking around some of the best VW's that the UK has to offer. There is an awesome live graffiti display, entertainment shows, live music, a funfair and Harewood's facilities such as the adventure playground, bird garden and food court.
The annual Leeds Festival of Science – now in its 12th year – is nearly here; from 4th to 31st March there will be activities galore across science, technology, engineering and mathematics throughout Leeds and the University. The 2017 Public Programme will once again be packed full of exciting events that will enthuse and inspire everyone, whatever their age and experience.
Get your boots ready for the seventeenth Otley Walking Festival. This year’s Walking Festival opens with a wide choice of events on Saturday 24th June and runs right through until Sunday 2nd July with events and walks each day and evening. With a choice of over 40 walks and events, there really is something for everyone! Short town-based walks, themed walks, waterside walks, strenuous moorland hikes plus a full evening programme of entertaining themed events.
Coming to Leeds for the first time in 2016, the Magical Lantern Festival is the UK's largest lantern festival and is turning Roundhay Park into a glowing winter wonderland this Christmas.
