Our pets are one of the family – so why should they have to stay at home while we have all the fun? They shouldn’t! And they don’t have to. Many venues in Leeds welcome our four-legged friends. Below are some of the best dog friendly places in the city.
We couldn’t create a blog on dog friendly Leeds without mentioning Water Lane Boathouse. With a beer garden right next to the waterfront with ample indoor and outdoor seating, this venue serves up great food and drinks and is the perfect spot to enjoy some down time. What’s more this venue loves their dog visitors so much they have a dedicated Instagram account set up for them @Waterlanedoghouse.

Northern Monk Refectory sits pretty in a former Holbeck mill. The refectory serves up fresh beer on tap, brewed just beneath your feet in the brewery on the ground floor. You can bring your furry friend along for a pint or two – for you, not them.

The Brunswick are serving up home-cooked burgers, fried chicken, and wholesome Sunday roasts – claimed to be one of the best in Leeds. With 9 keg lines, 6 cask lines, and over 50 beers in the fridges, it’s the perfect spot for you and your buddy to cool down.
