Join the party at one of the UK’s most popular music festivals, Leeds Festival; with global superstars taking to the stage for an unforgettable weekend (25th – 27th August).

Don your most colourful outfit and help Leeds West Indian Carnival celebrate their 50th anniversary at the most dazzling parade yet on August bank holiday Monday. With jaw-dropping costumes, Caribbean beats, fun fair rides, stalls and delicious world cuisine it’s a day not to be missed!

Not only does Leeds have an enticing range of fine-dining restaurants, world street food vendors, quirky cafes, stylish cocktail bars and independent eateries, there’s also a whole menu of foodie festivals for you to tuck into!

Leeds Indie Food Festival is in full swing, bringing two weeks of eating, drinking and doing events to celebrate all things independent food.

The Great British Food Festival is back at Harewood House on the 27th-29th May. With over 100 food, drink and gift stalls, top chef demos, live music, kids entertainment and much more it promises to be a fantastic fun foodie day out.

The 2nd – 4th June sees The Yorkshire Post Food and Drink Show bring together some of the region’s finest offerings for three days of stalls filled with tantalising creations, live cooking demos, refreshing summer cocktails and delicious street food.
