Westfield Health British Transplant Games 2021

Transplant Sport has announced that the Westfield Health British Transplant Games due to take place in Leeds this summer will be postponed until 2022 due to ongoing challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

Originally due to be held in venues across the city from 5-8 August 2021, the British Transplant Games have been postponed until summer 2022. Read more here

Leeds proudly welcomes the 45th edition of the prestigious Westfield Health British Transplant Games

Around 1,000 transplant athletes of all ages from around the UK, cheered on by their families will compete in a vibrant celebration of life and the gift that is organ donation.

Year on year, Transplant Sport’s flagship event aims to encourage transplant recipients to remain active, demonstrate the benefits of transplantation and raise public awareness of the importance to speak to your loved ones about your wishes around organ donation.

Transplant recipients, supporters, live donors and donor families are set to travel to Leeds for an unforgettable weekend comprising over 25 sporting and social events, including the annual Donor Run.
