Harrogate Convention Centre is a multi-purpose events centre with over 13,700 square metres of event space including the iconic 2000-seat main auditorium.

Offering 8 exhibition halls, a state-of-the-art Main Auditorium, the Edwardian 'palace of glittering gold', the Royal Hall, and the flexible Queen's Suite, which can be sub-divided into 10 individual, completely acoustically secure rooms it is ideal for conferences, exhibitions, trade fairs or public shows.

There are 300 car parking spaces at the Harrogate Convention Centre alone, a further 1,200 at the nearby Jubilee and Victoria car parks, plus a 180-space car park specifically for contractors.

With stylish boutique shops, quality independent restaurants and bars, multiple award winning parks and gardens, visitors are guaranteed a warm welcome in Harrogate. The benefits of Harrogate’s springs were discovered in 1571. By the turn of the 20th century thousands of health tourists including European royalty flocked here to take the waters. Water is still bottled from Harrogate springs today and served in the finest establishments around the world.

There are 321 bedrooms on site and around 1,700 within 10 minutes’ walk. For those who prefer, quality self-catering and serviced apartments are also in walking distance. From the South
21 minutes from the A1. Take the M1 and A1(M) before leaving at Junction 45 (Wetherby) then take the A661 to Harrogate. Alternatively continue on the A1(M) to Junction 47 (Knaresborough) then follow signs to Harrogate.

From the North
24 minutes from the A1.Take the A1(M) and exit at Junction 47 (Knaresborough) then follow signs to Harrogate.


Harrogate is linked to all major UK cities via Leeds (34 minutes) and York (33 minutes) including a direct, daily connection to London (3 hours 1 minute).

The quickest journey time from London is 2 hours 43 minutes including a change at Leeds or York.


At 12 miles (20 minutes) the closest airport to Harrogate is Leeds/Bradford (LBA). British Airways run daily flights between LBA and Heathrow (1 hour), and there are regular flights from many connections worldwide, including Paris (1 hour 30 minutes), Amsterdam (1 hour 10 minutes), Dublin (1 hour).

To get from LBA to Harrogate, take the Airport Direct 747 bus which runs hourly and will drop you off at Harrogate’s main bus station, from there it’s a five minute walk to Harrogate Convention Centre.

Alternatively a taxi will take about 20 minutes and around £25.
