The Leeds hospitality sector came together last night, Thursday 21 June, to celebrate the 11th annual Leeds Hotel and Venues Association (LHVA) Awards Dinner, held at the iconic Queens Hotel.

Hosted by BBC Look North’s very own Harry Gration (MBE), the award ceremony celebrated the cream of the crop of the city’s hotel and venue staff. LHVA received headline sponsorship from Leeds BID and gold sponsorship from Trinity Leeds, ensuring the 11th anniversary celebrations were a roaring success.

MEETinLEEDS is celebrating the success of the recent 17th Food Colloids Conference: Application of Soft Matter Concepts, which took place between 8th – 11th April 2018 at the University of Leeds. MEETinLEEDS collaborated with the School of Food Science and Nutrition to welcome 300 delegates from 29 nations who attended the conference to expand and exchange knowledge in Food Colloids. The event marked the return of the conference to the UK after 14 years and was a major success, with a record-breaking number of high quality posters in the conferences’ history.

Leeds to welcome Royal College of Anaesthetists for annual event set to inspire future generations

ConferenceLeeds is celebrating the city’s continuous healthcare sector success, as the city has been chosen to host the Royal College of Anaesthetists’ (RCoA) annual training meeting, which will be held between 14th –15th June 2018. The event, which anticipates approximately 400 anaesthetists to gather at the New Dock Conference Centre on Clarence Dock, aims to improve the quality of postgraduate training in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care Medicine and Pain Medicine administration.
