New Year’s Eve in Leeds

This New Year’s there is plenty for all to enjoy in Leeds. Here is a round up of some of the amazing events in the city this year to help you wave goodbye to 2021 and say hello to 2022!

Discover sparkling tunnels of light, walk under giant baubles and beneath the trees illuminated in seasonal colours as you venture through the illuminated trail at Temple Newsam. Join Stockeld Park for festive fun, get active and discover large themed outdoor playgrounds within the beautiful woodland before watching the enchanted forest come alive after dusk with their winter illuminations.

If a trip to the theatre is more your speed, a production of Disney’s magical Bedknobs and Broomsticks is currently showing at the Grand Theatre, complete with adventure, mystery and a giant flying bed! What better way to welcome in the New Year than with a good laugh?  At HiFi this year, celebrate the end of 2021 with the New Year’s Eve Comedy Club Special starring Justin Moorhouse, Eddy Brimson, Lou Conran And Alex Boardman. The Wardrobe are also hosting a spectacular night of celebrations with their comedy evening, complete with a three-course meal and New Year’s festivities to follow!

Party Nights

For a decadent soiree, Cosy Club will be dishing out the glamour with their evening full of cocktails, canapes and class. The Parkway Hotel will be hosting a party night to see in the New Year in style, complete with a four-course meal and plenty of dancing! Malmaison is offering a set menu in their restaurant Chez Mal, or a full-blown New Year’s Bash for those looking to go all out.

Get the full luxury experience and red-carpet welcome at the Last Knight of 2021 Ball at the New Dock Hall at Royal Armouries. If you’re looking for a more laid-back celebration this year, Brudenell Social Club is hosting an event complete with bands, DJs, party games and more! Start the new year with a bang with Chow Down’s NYE Big Bash, with roaming performers, a champagne reception and DJ sets.

 

Quiet night

Fancy a quieter night? There are lots of relaxed and chilled evenings to enjoy this New Year’s. Tattu is offering a selection of set menus presenting celebration of fine Chinese cuisine, with different options for all diners.

The Owl will be serving up food full of tradition and flavour delivered using the finest ingredients from lunchtime onwards from their location in Kirkgate Market. Lost & Found have an extensive menu to offer guests, with bottomless prosecco to accompany the proceedings!
