Music ‘Legend’ to play first ever music dinner event at Aspire, Leeds

One of the biggest icons of the 70’s and 80’s will headline a Leeds venue’s first ever music dinner event. MIDGE URE will perform to an intimate crowd at the Grade II listed building, Aspire, on Thursday the 1st of September 2016.

Midge enjoyed success in the 1970’s and 1980’s in bands including Slik, Thin Lizzy, Rich kids and Visage, and most notably as the frontman of Ultravox. In 1984 URE co-wrote and produced the charity single ‘Do they know it’s Christmas?’ which has sold 3.7 million copies in the UK alone. The song is the second highest selling single in UK chart history.

Tickets will be priced from £65, which includes a 3 course meal prepared by MasterChef finalist Tom Rennolds. The evening will consist of a short set with music and anecdotes from Midge, plus a 3 course dinner.

Venetia Heaney, Managing Director of Aspire said ‘It’s fantastic to be able to host such a music legend at our venue and we are looking forward to watching Midge perform on the Aspire stage’.

Tickets will be available via SEE TICKETS or by calling 01132 368368.
