Explore behind the scenes of a live, working television set at Emmerdale Village.

Limited tickets for 2016, dates now available to book.

Emmerdale has had its fair share of drama over the years; plane crashes, helicopter disasters, armed robberies, shootings, explosions, deadly storms, and now YOU can explore behind the scenes at the spectacular village location in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

From this spring, the live, working TV set located within the Harewood Estate in Leeds, that has played witness to many-a spectacle, will open its gates as cast and crew down scripts for the weekend and allow guests to tread the tarmac and indulge in a fully guided tour of the popular, fictional village.

On selected dates from Saturday 30th April until Saturday 29th October 2016, visitors will be able to marvel at the picturesque village as they meander down the lane to the surreal sight of stone cladded shops and homes nestled amongst the rolling hills.

Sauntering past the familiar haunts of Home Farm, Bob’s Café, The Woolpack, the Village Church and rows of stone cottages known as home for over 43 years to your favourite Emmerdale characters, guides will share secrets, stories and reveal fascinating facts behind the making of the, multi award winning, ITV soap.

Emmerdale The Tour - Continuum Attractions
The highly anticipated tours at Emmerdale launch following the incredible success and demand created by Coronation Street The Tour, which came to an end last year. Continuum Attractions will once more operate the visitor experience on behalf of ITV.
Emmerdale The Tour - Continuum Attractions

Emmerdale village as it is today, was purpose built in the grounds of Harewood House over 17 years ago after the programme’s former location of Esholt became so popular with visitors, filming scenes there became impossible. Until now, its secluded and somewhat secret new home has been steeped in security to stop general public access.

John Whiston, MD of Continuing Drama and Head of ITV North said: “The village set is a unique and special place and Emmerdale is excited to be able to show it off to a select number of visitors. I'm sure the public will enjoy seeing it as much as we enjoy working there.”

Immerse yourself in the extraordinary rural village of Emmerdale this spring, where the only real drama will be if you miss out.

Limited tickets for individuals are available email or visit to find out how to book.
