Tenpin Leeds: Arena Quarter all set for bowling utopia

The thriving Arena Quarter is set to add yet another feather to its cap as the city’s premier entertainment destination when bowling brand Tenpin rolls into town come late November.
Ten Entertainment Group have taken over the space formerly occupied by MFA Bowling, and are in the process of giving the venue a remarkable half a million-pound transformation. The 8-week project will breathe new life into the old venue, which will boast 26 bowling lanes with state-of-the-art flat screen monitors, touch-screen consoles and a modernised scoring system.
Tenpin Leeds will also house several full-sized American pool tables, table tennis, a high-tech arcade, ensuring endless entertainment for all tastes. Football fanatics will be pleased to learn that the Leeds venue features the UK’s only foot bowl pitch.
A brand-new dining area will be serving up an indulgent menu of treats ranging from juicy burgers and hotdogs to loaded nachos and ice-cream. Thirsty gamers can knock back a selection of shooters, cocktails and beer pitchers, whilst kids and non-drinkers can enjoy a wide range of soft drinks, including retro favourite, Slush Puppies.
The renovations will also include new flooring throughout the venue, and new lane seating to ensure optimum comfort for bowlers and spectators. Tenpin Leeds will also be set-up to accommodate children’s parties, corporate events and Christmas parties.
Ten Entertainment Group are currently the second largest ten-pin bowling operator in the UK, with the new Leeds venue bringing their portfolio of Tenpin branded sites to 43. The group collectively employs around 1,100 people across the UK.
