The Summer Cocktail Experience: Festival-inspired event heading to the Faversham

After the phenomenal sell-out success of The Cocktail Experience over the past few years, the city’s premier party-centric cocktail event is back for 2019 with a twist. Taking place on Saturday 8th June, The Summer Cocktail Experience will be held at the iconic Faversham between 2-8pm, where a festival feel is guaranteed come rain or shine.

The crème de la crème of the thriving Leeds cocktail scene will be present and correct, but this year they’ll be joined by DJ’s, live music, entertainment, street food traders and much more to be announced in the coming weeks.

Cocktail eye candy

The event will take place both indoors and outdoors bringing together the best bars in Leeds and drink brand from across the globe, taking full advantage of the Faversham’s recent refurbishment. that’s transformed the venue into one of the city’s most sought after event spaces.

Essential Leeds nightlife spots already signed up include Call Lane’s legendary Jakes Bar, who have caused a stir in the city recently with a new drinks menu that’s packed with cocktail eye candy. Greek Street’s unstoppable Neighbourhood are also back, and promise to deliver a bespoke tipple to whet your appetite.

World Gin Day

The Lost and Found Leeds Club will be bringing a suitably refined summer cocktail to the party, while Revolucion de Cuba will be back with sun-kissed creations laced with the spirit of Havana. Angelica’s will be sprinkling the festival with their distinctive brand of glamour, and promise their regulars a decadent concoction.

City Square’s Banyan are also on the list, and are in the process of designing a refreshing seasonal menu as we speak. Saturday 8th June also happens to be World Gin Day, and so guests can expect gin-inspired surprises from major brands such as Tanqueray 10 and Bombay Sapphire plus exclusive gin areas where various incarnations of the nations new favourite drink will be available.
The Summer Cocktail Experience will be the fifth event from the Pink Gorilla team, and is by far their most ambitious party to date. The company have established themselves as the premier PR company in the leisure and retail sector, and have been behind some of Leeds most memorable launches in the past decade.
