Coronavirus Update

Here at Visit Leeds, our priority is to play our part and do what we can to keep our visitors, students and residents as safe as possible. Our fantastic city is well known for community spirit and collaboration amongst all those people who live, work, study and visit here. As restrictions ease we’ll be ready to welcome you back when you’re ready to visit and can’t wait to see you. There’s plenty of inspiration throughout this site and to help you plan your visit we’ve created this handy A-Z Guide

Ask For Angela

If you ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe when out in the city centre, Ask for Angela to get discreet help.

Leeds City Council are working with Women Friendly Leeds and other partners and venues across the city centre to help keep all people safe when on a night out. Anyone can say the code word ‘Angela’ to staff at participating venues to signal that they’re in an uncomfortable situation and would like assistance.
