Grandstand, Sunday 9th June, Millennium Square

Want to get the best view of the race action? Experience the excitement and thrill of the AJ Bell World Triathlon from the spectator grandstand. Enjoy the luxury of the famous blue carpet experience, watch the world’s best triathletes with unrivalled views of both the second transition and the all-important finish line in Leeds iconic Millennium Square.

A big screen is also located opposite the grandstand, showing live coverage you keep up to speed with the race as the action unfolds around Leeds city centre. Book via the Leeds box office HERE 

Roundhay Park, Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June

Head to Roundhay Park over the weekend to see the start of all the AJ Bell World Triathlon races, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the family activities and events as well as the beautiful scenery of the park and lakes.


Cricket World Cup

Trophy tour 14th and 15th April

The ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour started its tour of England and Wales on 19 February, and it will be in Leeds on Sunday April 14 and Monday April 15, visiting Trinity Leeds and Headingley. Further details of how fans can see the trophy will be made available shortly.


Cricket World Cup Fanzones

In each host city centre, CWC2019 will create a free festival of world cricket for all to explore.

Games will be screened direct to the Fanzone, and a free programme of activities and performances will bring together local and global celebrations. The Fanzones are for everyone, from seasoned cricket lovers to children meeting the game for the first time.

Fanzone, Millennium Square 21st-23rd June

The fanzone for CWC2019 will run for three days, 21st-23rd June, on Millennium Square and is free for everyone to enjoy, with live screenings of all matches. There will also be a free programme of activities and performances including street cricket, bowling and batting.

On 21st June Leeds hosts England v Sri Lanka. The other two dates, the matches that will be screened will be broadcast from other host cities, and these matches are:
22 June – India v Afghanistan and West Indies v New Zealand
23 June – Pakistan v South Africa

So whether you are a seasoned cricket lover or a family who would like your children to meet the game for the first time, the fanzone will be a fun experience for everyone.

The Village has an abundance of entertainment including amazing art and music, delicious food and drink, family fun activities and lots more to help celebrate the Tour de Yorkshire.


Trophy Tour, 19th March - city centre

The trophy tour happens every year in the lead up to the Tour de Yorkshire. The trophy visits each of the start and finish locations of the race for one day.
