_What can be retrieved from life’s catastrophes and wounds?_

_Doctor Zeeman’s Catastrophe Machine_ is the new stage production from award-winning poet Martin Figura. In this standalone show, Martin tells the story of his adulthood, using poetry, sound, images and a mathematical machine to journey through marriage guidance, a father/son road trip and his Down’s Syndrome daughter’s leaving home for college. Directed by Hannah Jane Walker, funded by Arts Council England, and produced by Tilt, with support from Norwich Arts Centre and Writers’ Centre Norwich [].

Tickets are £6. Doors open at 7.00pm, performance starts at 7.30pm.

Age guidance: 14+. Show running time: 1 hour approx.

This event forms part of our Festival of the Mind season in homage to Joseph Priestley, one of our founder members, which is running from Tuesday 20th November to Saturday 1st December, and is supported by Arts@Leeds and Leeds City Council.
