Details

RISE 4 Disability will coming to Leeds for our first event in the North.

RISE stands for Resourcing & Identifying Suitable Equipment and Services for disability and we aim to bring the community together to unite disability services in that sector.

Our event will be held in the New Dock hall of the Royal Armories and will compromise of a full conference featuring Moving and Handling by the National Back Exchange [https://www.facebook.com/nbetoday/], Occupational Therapy Integration by Leeds City Council [https://www.facebook.com/pages/Leeds-City-Council/110750915615707], Housing & Adaptations, Wheelchair advice by ReviewMyWheelchair [https://www.facebook.com/ReviewMyWheelchair/], Travel advice by William Merritt Disabled Living Centre, Leeds [https://www.facebook.com/wmdlc/] & Safety when sleeping by Safespaces [https://www.facebook.com/safespacesltd/], 

We will also have a hall full of exhibitors showcasing products from specialist seating, mobility equipment, adapted vehicles and moving and handling equipment etc.

    By Road:
    From M621 turn off at jct 4 south Leeds. Follow signs for Leeds city centre then follow the brown tourist signs for the museum.

    By Public Transport:
    After leaving Leeds Railway Station, turn left onto City Square, the right along Boar Lane. Keep going until you are behind The Corn Exchange, and follow Assembly Street round until you reach The Calls. Cross over and pass 42 The Calls Hotel on your right, then cross over Leeds Centenery Footbridge. Over the bridge, walk across Brewery Wharf, past Jurys Inn and over Bowman Lane.. Armouries Drive is directly opposite, follow the signs for the musuem. The walk from Leeds Railway Station takes approximately 20 minutes, or 5 minutes in a taxi.
