Responses to Art: 100 years of Bradford Painters

Responses to Art: 100 years of Bradford Painters

Visit this intriguing exhibition, looking at the work of artists in Bradford between 1850 and 1950. The period reflected a time of great prosperity in the life of some, and money in the city was set aside to build an art collection. The exhibition also highlights the enormous changes in styles during that time. We will have an introduction to the exhibition followed by an opportunity to make a response/studies from chosen work/s in a variety of media, selecting complete works to focus on or just a detail. Basic media will be available; we are able to use paint as well as dry materials, but feel free to bring your own materials. There will be others on hand for help and advice.
