After previous successful Young Open exhibitions, the highly aniticipated event is returning to celebrate young artist's work from Bradford. The Young Open provides an opportunity for artists 16 and under to submit their work to an open exhibition in Bradford's civic art gallery, Cartwright Hall.
The theme this year is: Be inspired by Peter Rabbit: Mischief and Mayhem exhibition in the gallery, which opens on the 18 May 2019. Read books by Beatrix Potter and look closely at our British wildlife.
Bring your artwork from home or teachers and community groups - submit a whole series!
By including Bradford's diverse communities and younger age categories the outcome will explore various medium and imagery/design. The Young Open exhibition will appeal to all ages to share the pride of the young people of Bradford.
Prizegiving will be on Sunday 23 June 2019, 1 - 3pm - join the summer party!
Have your face painted as a wonderful Beatrix Potter animal!

Cartwright Hall Art Gallery is in the middle of Lister Park, one and a half miles from the City Centre on the A650 Manningham Lane. There is limited parking in Lister Park, accessible from North Park Road (off Oak Lane). Lister Park is served by many city centre bus services including 23, 25, 26, 49, 51, 52, 53, 54, 622, 647, 662, w5. Cartwright Hall is about ten minutes' uphill walk from Frizinghall railway station.
