July’s Leeds Art Walk takes a special focus on Yorkshire Sculpture International [https://yorkshire-sculpture.org/] the UK’s largest dedicated sculpture festival.

Introduction to series of solo shows and new commissions exploring the breadth of contemporary sculpture-making, including the first solo exhibition in the UK by Nobuko Tsuchiya [https://yorkshire-sculpture.org/artists/nobuko-tsuchiya/] (b.1972, Japan), work by Rachel Harrison [https://yorkshire-sculpture.org/artists/rachel-harrison/] (b. 1966, New York) and Joanna Piotrowska [https://yorkshire-sculpture.org/artists/joanna-piotrowska/] (b. 1985, Poland).

Ayşe Erkmen [https://yorkshire-sculpture.org/events/ayse-erkmen/]’s sculptural practice transforms environments as she responds to a particular place through site-specific interventions that draw our attention to locations and things that are often overlooked or hidden.
