The National Coal Mining Museum of England have some exciting activities happening over the Spring Bank Holidays from Saturday 26 May until 3 June.

Some of these events and activities include;

- The Caphouse Colliery Coal Race taking place on on Saturday 26 May.
- Half Term activities with a coal mining twist where you can meet living history characters and get hands-on with family craft activities.
- Join the NCMME team on Sunday 3 June for their 30th Birthday Celebrations! Oh and don't forget to bring a picnic for the Big Miners’ Picnic!

All of these events and more will be taking place during the Spring Bank Holidays at the National Coal Mining Museum.
