Apple Week

Apple Week

It’s Nostell Apple Week. Join the team at Nostell for a range of activities throughout the week to celebrate the changing seasons.

On Wednesday 26 come along to learn the precise process of apple ID by slicing and scrutinising every element of the fruit from skin texture and pip colour to juice flavour and stem position.

On Thursday and Friday join Mark on a guided walk and talk around the Kitchen Garden and young orchard to hear all about how he grows and harvests apples. He'll give you tips on identifying species and the best ways to keep a healthy and happy apple tree.

On Sunday join Nostell for a Apple Family Fun Day, 11am-3pm. Get sticky hands with apple pressing and get stuck in to games on the South Lawn. Bring all the family for creative crafts inspired by the changing seasons and once you're tired out from all those apple antics, snuggle up for story time.
