Discovery Tour

Discovery Tour

Details

Discovery is a sound walk offering all who experience it, a spiritual journey through the Cathedral. Using the whole building, Discovery invites visitors to use places and artifacts to reflect on their unique and personal spiritual journey. Lasting just under forty minutes it is aimed at adults and older teenagers.

The Discovery project is the first of its kind for an English Cathedral and it has already attracted widespread interest. The Cathedral welcomes comments and feedback from visitors who have taken the tour.

How does it work? A visitor collects an audio aid from one of the trained volunteers under the Tower at the West Door and then follows the commentary to take up the tour.
