Details

Created by American artist James Turrell, the Deer Shelter Skyspace consists of a large square chamber inside the Park's 18th-century Deer Shelter, with an aperture cut into the roof. As the sun rises, you'll experience heightened visions of the changing Yorkshire sky in a place of contemplation and revelation. The event continues with breakfast and fresh tea and coffee in YSP Restaurant. Parking is included in the price of this event and lasts all day, so you can continue to explore the Park after sunrise.

– Suitable for over 12s only.
– The weather conditions outside will not affect your experience but remember to wear sensible footwear or wellies as there is a short walk through the Park to reach the Skyspace. Also, the Skyspace is gently heated inside but we do advise you wear something warm in case of cold weather.
