Study Day - Leonora Cohen: Leeds Suffragette

Study Day - Leonora Cohen: Leeds Suffragette

With Nicola Pullan, Assistant Curator of Leeds and Social History

Come and explore our Leonora Cohen collection.  The collection was donated by Cohen, a Leeds based Suffragette who spent time in prison during the campaign for women’s suffrage. We will talk about some of the campaigns and events in Leeds and other local areas with a chance to think about some of the issues involved, and the challenges that continue.   There will then be a chance to see the collection for yourself.

All study days cost £12 per person (no concessions) which includes lunch in our café.  To book your place please call 0113 3784079 or email
