Study Day: Food and Drink

Details

Food and eating are an essential part of life and our collections provide a wide range of material that can help us to explore this.  The morning will provide an overview of how our eating habits have changed, and a chance to learn a little about local foods.  We will then take the opportunity to examine the collections with a look at what they can show us about eating out, dining at home, and the preparation that can go in to making a great meal through original objects and ephemera.
