Bonnie and Clyde The Musical

Bonnie and Clyde The Musical

Details

_Bonnie & Clyde: The Musical_ tells the story of America's most notorious lovers and bank robbers, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, who find infamy and love in this thrilling, fast-paced Tony Award nominated musical from the legendary Frank Wildhorn.

Frustrated with their poor, ordinary lives, Bonnie and Clyde both dream of the excitement they have seen in the movies and their mutual desire for fame sets them on a mission to chase their dreams. Their craving for fame leads them into a life of crime and soon their bold and reckless behaviour turns the young lovers' thrilling adventure into a downward spiral, putting themselves and their loved ones in trouble with the law. Forced to stay on the run, the lovers resort to robbery and murder to survive. As the dishonourable duo's notoriety grows bigger, they inadvertently become the celebrities they so desperately wanted to be, but their inevitable demise beckons.

Diva Productions, producers of the smash hit productions of _Rita Sue and Bob Too, Avenue Q, The Full Monty and Joseph _are proud to present the Leeds premiere of this electrifying story of love, adventure and crime that captured the attention of an entire country.  This sexy, exciting, thrilling and daring musical combines gospel, rock, folk and blues music to produce an innovative score that complements the action-filled true story of fugitive lovers on a date with death.
