The Otley Tavern

The Otley Tavern

The Otley Tavern was originally built as three cottages, some of the property possibly dating back to the mid 1700’s. Each cottage had a door and window on the ground floor with a bedroom window above, and subsequent alterations have taken place in respect to the lower windows. Before becoming a public house, it was a better-class lodging house for itinerants.

Formerly called the “Travellers Rest” and then the “Welcome Inn,” it then became the “Ring O’ Bells in 1895 until 2013 when it had an extensive refurbishment and changed to it current name.

The bar at The Otley Tavern has the welcoming hospitality, warmth and character of a market tavern you expect, serving a selection of local real ales and guests from across the UK. At the Otley Tavern Inn you can enjoy our great wines, spirits and beers around the world plus a selection of fantastic whiskies, brandy and vodka.

Otley Tavern shows Sky Sports and BT sport on 2 plasma screens and a large projection screen with split channel viewing. In the winter months you can relax by the roaring log burner with a quiet drink and feel relaxed. Wi-Fi Internet is available throughout the pub and the added air conditioning combine to make your visit a comfortable one.

The Otley Tavern has entertainment every week starting with an open Mic night every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month and Live music each Friday and Saturday evening. Sunday afternoons from 5pm to 8pm also feature live music, check out their facebook page for full entertainment listings.
