Pub: Formerly known as the Three Horseshoes, The Horse and Farrier ( now part of the Market Town Tavern group of select pubs) retains the integrity and charm of the original pub with distinct and discreet areas for dining and drinking, a cosy log burning stove and Yorkshire stone floor.

There is also a spacious beer garden for the warmer months and parking to the rear.

On the first floor, sits a versatile function room which can comfortably seat up to 40 people and is family celebrations, private parties and business events.

One special feature is a collection fine prints of classic British racing motorcycles.

The pub is known locally for the quality and variety of its beers.

Hotel: This relaxed Yorkshire stone-built pub with rooms is 11 miles from Harrogate, and 13.8 miles from the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The rooms are decorated in a warm, unfussy style, and come with en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, flat-screen TVs, and free WiFi.

Complimentary breakfast is included. The pub is decorated in rustic-chic style with wood flooring and log-burning fireplaces, and serves real ales and classic pub grub. There's also a beer garden, and a function room for up to 50 guests.
