Spend a festive day at Leeds Cookery School on our Christmas Baking class! Students will make traditional German Stollen, Mince Pies and Bouche de Noel (Yule Log). These recipes and all the hints and tips from our professional chefs will be sure to stand you in good stead for the busy festive season.

Lunch with mulled wine is included in the class, so come along and enjoy a wonderful winter day out!

Techniques you will learn:

How to make a Genoise Sponge and how to roll, fill and decorate to make a Bouche De Noel.
How to make and roll sweet shortcrust pasty and mince pies with different toppings.
The secrets of making an enriched sweet bun dough.
How to prove, roll and shape your dough to make a delicious Stollen.

Full recipes including ingredients list and method are provided for you to take home to add to your repertoire so you can keep on cooking them time and time again.

What you can take home:

There is a tasting session after each class where you have the chance to sample the tutor’s version of each dish. You will take all of your festive goodies home, so don’t forget to bring some sizeable containers to transport your food home in.

Please note that you do not need to bring any equipment or ingredients with you as this will be provided by the cookery school and is included in the cost.

Tea and coffee are provided throughout on all of our classes.
