The Former Editor in Chief of Marie Claire, and Fashion Editor with the Daily Mail takes to the road to celebrate her debut novel ‘8 ½ stone’.
She will be accompanied by her not inconsiderable collection of Jimmy Choos!!!!!!!
Not known for mincing her words, she will enlighten you about the horrors of the world of high fashion; regale tales of what it’s like travelling the world in search of the perfect pedicure; corralling Hollywood stars to grace the magazine’s cover; which Oscar winner needed air brushing to make her put on weight and which stick insect supermodel has cellulite.
All this before being sacked - although she did manage to smuggle 22 designer handbags out of the building!
Ever wondered what it was like to go under the surgeon’s knife for a boob job and a face lift? And the ignominy of having done all that, having been on a diet since the age of 11 and discovering your frankly somewhat obese husband cheated on you for someone younger, dimmer and slimmer!

We have partnered with NCP to offer an exclusive car parking discount to people attending our venues. You can park at the NCP Hall Ings (BD1 5SD) or NCP Southgate (BD1 2AP). Vouchers are available from the Box Office when you buy or collect your tickets, or can be requested before the show from bars and kiosk (subject to availability).
There are a number of other car parks in the city centre within close walking distance of our venues. These include Crown Court; Jacob’s Well (Saturday only); Kirkgate Shopping Centre (daytime only); Leisure Exchange; Oastler Centre (daytime only); Sharpe Street (behind the National Media Museum) and the Broadway Shopping Centre.
