Details

From many corners of the world, China, Ireland, Kazakhstan and India, this group of musicians met at the University of Sheffield. Through their combined talents, they have connected the music between countries to create something innovative from the Hindustani music repertoire.

An array of instruments is coming upon this stage, including special guest Vijay Venkat on the bansuri flute. This family friendly evening is a mixture of different world styles, showing that cultural differences do not separate us. Music is a universal language. This is an ideal concert for world music lovers, culture vultures and those who love to try new exciting experiences.
